These terms apply when a professional account uses Client Hive to view or take customer enquiries. Client Hive is operated by William Taylor. By registering as a professional or taking a lead, you agree to these terms.
What Client Hive provides
Client Hive introduces customers to independent professionals. We do not employ or supervise you, perform the work, set your quote, collect the customer’s payment for the work, or guarantee that an enquiry will become a job.
Taking a lead and paying the fee
- The lead fee is displayed before you choose a lead.
- When you select “Choose lead”, you will be sent to Stripe Checkout. The lead is assigned to you only after Stripe confirms successful payment.
- After successful payment, the enquiry is removed from the available leads and archived for other professionals. It is offered to one professional at a time.
- Client Hive does not hold money paid by the customer for the work. You and the customer agree payment for the work directly between yourselves.
Customer contact and lead use
Use customer information only to respond to the enquiry and discuss or provide the requested work. Do not sell it, share it with an unauthorised person, add the customer to marketing lists, or contact them about unrelated services. Keep it secure and delete it when you no longer need it, subject to any legal record-keeping duty.
You are responsible for complying with privacy and data-protection law when you receive or use lead information, including giving any required privacy information and handling rights requests. The Privacy Policy explains how Client Hive handles customer and professional information.
Your responsibilities
Keep your account, business details, service area, qualifications and availability accurate. You are responsible for any licences, qualifications, insurance, tax, health and safety duties, consumer rights, quotes, contracts and the quality of your work. Client Hive account review is not a certification or guarantee of your suitability.
Customer reports and compensation
Customers can report that a job is done, you did not attend, or you could not meet the requirements or price stated in the enquiry. We may contact you to review a report. If we confirm that you let the customer down or could not meet their stated requirements or price, Client Hive will arrange customer compensation equal to 50% of the lead fee you paid for that enquiry, under the Lead Issues and Customer Compensation Policy. This is paid by Client Hive to the customer; it is not a customer refund from you and does not change any separate agreement you have with the customer.
We may return an affected enquiry to the available leads as urgent after confirming a report. A customer report does not itself decide any dispute between you and the customer about work already agreed or carried out.
Account restrictions and ending use
We may pause or close an account where we reasonably believe there is fraud, misuse of customer information, repeated failure to respond to leads, a serious breach of these terms, a safety concern or a legal requirement. We will explain the reason where appropriate. You can stop using Client Hive by contacting us; outstanding complaints, payment records and legal duties may still need to be handled.

Lead fee categories and emergency premium
Lead fees are priced by trade and estimated size (small, standard or major), with an additional fee for detailed quote requests and a premium for customer requests marked emergency. The displayed amount is the total one-time fee for accessing the enquiry, not a guarantee of work. The full amount is shown before Stripe Checkout. See current Worker Bee Lead Prices.
