Quick questions
Does joining cost anything?
Worker Bee registration and profile advertising are free. Professionals pay the displayed fee only when they choose an available lead.
Who pays for completed work?
Customers and independent professionals agree the job and payment directly. Client Hive does not collect payment for the professional’s work.
Client Hive serves the UK, including Northern Ireland. Professional registration is open nationally; local customer enquiries are being introduced in stages.
Emergency repairs, urgent jobs and flexible bookings
When describing a job on Client Hive, explain when help is needed. Marking a request as an emergency helps communicate urgency but does not guarantee a Worker Bee is available. For urgent work, give a clear description of the issue, location, relevant photographs where safe, and whether parts or materials are available.
What is the difference between emergency, urgent and flexible work?
Emergency: You need help as soon as possible for an urgent property issue. Within 24 hours: The job is time-sensitive but not an immediate safety emergency. Within 7 days: You need an appointment during the coming week. Flexible: There is no fixed deadline.
Can Client Hive send an emergency plumber or electrician immediately?
Client Hive is a platform connecting customers with independent professionals, not an emergency dispatch service. Response and attendance times depend on individual Worker Bee availability, and no response time is guaranteed.
What should I do if there is immediate danger or a gas leak?
For a fire, serious injury or someone in immediate danger, call 999. If you smell gas or suspect a gas leak in Great Britain, call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 and follow its advice. Do not delay by posting a job enquiry. See UK emergency guidance and National Gas emergency contacts.
How will I know whether my job is still open?
Job urgency and job status are different. Urgency describes how quickly you need assistance. Status describes the enquiry’s progress, such as open, being discussed with a professional, booked, completed or available again. You can follow the progress of a submitted enquiry through your Client Hive account.
